Overview
Grubtech shows how connected product and infrastructure thinking can digitize a physical operation without ignoring how the business actually works. Restaurant technology spans order sources, menus, kitchen workflows, dispatch, inventory and reporting, with each layer producing consequences for the others in real time. We approached the platform as one operating system rather than a set of disconnected tools. The goal was to turn fragmented signals into clear actions for people working under pressure while creating a product foundation capable of supporting multiple venues, integrations and operational models.

The Challenge
Physical operations are messy, but the software coordinating them cannot be. Grubtech had to reconcile fragmented POS and delivery integrations, real-time kitchen activity, multi-venue complexity and users whose attention is divided by live service. A delayed or unclear decision in software can become a missed order, a kitchen bottleneck or a poor customer experience within minutes. The platform needed to expose the right level of detail without overwhelming operators, remain useful across different roles and preserve a coherent source of truth as data moved between external systems and physical locations.

The Solution
We translated real-world operations into structured digital workflows. Orders, integrations, menus, kitchen states, dispatch and reporting were organized around the decisions operators need to make during a live shift. Interfaces prioritized fast scanning, clear status and exceptions that require action, while the product architecture supported a shared operational picture across venues and systems. Product design and platform logic were developed together so visual simplicity did not hide ambiguity underneath. The resulting control plane made complex operations more legible without forcing teams to abandon the rhythms that already made the business work.
